Customer Support Engineer
Location: Hybrid work (3 days per week in-office) in Madison, Wisconsin, USA
$28 per hour, full time
Scooter Software has great customers all over the world. Now we need to expand our staff that takes care of them.
Responsibilities- Provide first level technical support via email, web forum, and phone
- Test new features and software releases
- Communicate bug reports and feature requests to developers
Requirements
- Self-driven with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical customers
- Strong problem solving ability with attention to detail
- Responsible, self-dependent and ethical
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
- Basic computer networking
- Version control systems
- Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language
