Using Beyond Compare with Total Commander

You can configure the popular Total Commander file manager to send a pair of files or folders to Beyond Compare for comparison:

1. In a text editor, open:  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\GHISLER\wincmd.ini
2. In the [Configuration] section, add the line:
   CompareTool=c:\program files\beyond compare 5\bcomp.exe

To compare files from Total Commander, right-click to mark the files or folders, then select File > Compare by Content from the menu.
