Specify the file types to be associated with each of the supported archive formats.
1.Choose Tools | Options 
(Beyond Compare | Settings on macOS) to open the Options dialog.
2.Click the Archive Types page.
3.Choose a format and enter the associated file types separated by semicolons in the Mask column. You can leave it blank to remove support for that format. You can add support for additional archive formats by clicking the Add Plug-in button and following the instructions. For more information, see Archive Files.
