Specify the file format to be used when reading the input files. The default selection is Detected, which means the file format will be selected based on file masks.
1.While in a Text Merge session, choose Session | Session Settings to open the Session Settings dialog.
2.Click the Format page.
3.Choose a setting from the All file formats dropdown list. The default selection is Detected, which means the file format will be selected based on file masks.
4.Choose a setting from the Left encoding override, Right encoding override, and Center encoding override dropdown lists to allow this session to override the character encoding to be used for each file, normally controlled by the selected file format.
The default is None, which means the file format's encoding choice will be used.
