Commands for launching various types of comparisons can be added to the Windows Explorer context menu.
Pick Tools > Options and switch to the Startup page to configure the visibility of the following commands.
Compare
Compares the selected files/folders using the associated view.
Compare to <file/folder>
Compares the selected file/folder with the previously selected left file/folder using the associated view.
Compare Left to <folder>\<file>
Compares the previously selected left file to a file with the same name in the selected folder.
Select Left File / Select Left Folder
Remembers the selected file/folder for a later comparison. Right-click another file/folder to start the comparison.
Compare Using
Compares the selected files using the view type picked from the submenu.
Compare to <file> Using
Compares the selected file with the previously selected left file using the view type picked from the submenu.
Compare Using Hex
Compares the selected archive files using the Hex Compare.
Compare to Clipboard
Compares the selected file with the Windows clipboard.
Compare to Registry
Compares the selected file with the live Registry.
Sync
Synchronizes the selected folders.
Sync with <folder>
Synchronizes the selected folder with the previously selected left folder.
Merge
Merges the selected files/folders.
Merge with <file/folder>
Merges the selected file(s)/folder(s) with the previously selected file(s)/folder(s).
Select Center File / Select Center Folder
Remembers the selected file/folder for a later merge. Right-click another file/folder to start the merge.
Open for Compare
Opens the selected folder using the Folder Compare.
Edit
Edits the selected file(s) using the Text Edit.
View Patch
Views the selected file using the Text Patch.
