1.Choose Tools | Profiles (Beyond Compare | Profiles on macOS) to open the Profiles dialog.
2.Click the Global page.

SSH public key authentication |
These settings are used to authenticate against an SSH server using a public/private key pair. Keys stored using OpenSSH's ssh-agent and PuTTY's pageant SSH agents will be used automatically. |
SSH private key file |
Specify the path to the SSH private key. OpenSSH, SSH.COM, PuTTY, and PGP key formats are supported. Click Create Keys to create a new SSH key pair. |
SSL authentication |
These settings are used to authenticate against an SSL FTP server using an SSL client certificate. |
SSL client certificate |
Specify the path to the SSL client certificate file. Click Create Certificate to create a new self-signed SSL client certificate. |
ASCII types |
To change which files get transferred as ASCII, add and remove extensions from this list. |
