1.Choose Tools | Profiles (Beyond Compare | Profiles on macOS) to open the Profiles dialog.
2.Click the New button 
and choose FTP Profile.
3.Click the Login page.
4.From the Protocol dropdown, choose FTP or one of the secure FTP options: SSL or SSH 
.
5.In the Port box, type a port number if you don't want to use the standard value for the specified protocol.
6.Use the Host, Username, and Password controls to specify login parameters for your account.
7.Select the Save password checkbox to weakly encrypt your password and store it along with other FTP profile settings.
8.In the Description box, type any text you want to identify the profile.
