1.Choose Tools | Profiles (Beyond Compare | Profiles on macOS) to open the Profiles dialog.
2.Select a profile on the left pane.
3.Click the Server page.
4.Select the Filenames are case sensitive checkbox to require filename character case to be the same in order to line up in the comparison.
5.Choose a setting from the Encoding dropdown to specify the character encoding the server uses for directory listings and commands.
6.Choose a setting from the Time zone dropdown to specify the time zone of the server. Timestamps will be converted to local time automatically.
7.In the Custom login commands box, specify any additional commands to send to the server upon connection. Not supported by SFTP (SSH) connections.
